The late Davey Allison drove for Robert Yates Racing in the #28 Texaco Havoline Ford Thunderbird. Davey's career was tragically cut short when he died from injuries suffered when the helicopter he was piloting crashed while landing at Talladega Motor Speedway in July of 1993.
